~Great, great Grandpa and Grandma Townsend~

"Home is where one starts from. As we grow older the world becomes stranger, the pattern more complicated of dead and living. Not the intense moment, isolated, with no before and after, but a lifetime burning in every moment. And not the lifetime of one man only, but of old stones that cannot be deciphered." ----- T. S. Eliot, 1888-1965 "Four Quartets, East Coker" (1940)

Awesome picture! I love how their legs look transparent. ~Spooky~ Plus great facial hair for Lewis! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteYes...there IS something going on at leg level! Looks like something was transposed during copying. This was from an old postcard photo and I'm told the entire house could be seen but the people were so tiny you couldn't really see their faces, hence a magnified copy was made.
